Lenora Brown

Biography

Concert pianist, recording artist, arranger, composer and master teacher, Lenora Ford Brown is an adjunct Professor of Music at the University of Utah. She has won first place in International piano competitions, has performed at Carnegie Hall, was a recipient of the 2008 Best of State Award in instrumental music and a three time winner of the Utah Arts Council Performing Tour. Professor Brown has concertized extensively throughout the Far East and the United States and has performed several times with the Utah Symphony. She has been the guest pianist at numerous conventions, concert series and recitals and was named one of the Top Ten New LDS Artists.

Lenora Brown is listed on the International roster of Steinway Artists and was recently inducted into ACME, an organization of internationally recognized artists, composers, musicologists and educators. She is a nationally certified teacher of music and teaches very promising young pianists, both at the University of Utah and in her private studio. Her students have won and placed in numerous state and national competitions and have received various scholarships and awards.
